Hotel is centrally located for easy walking to the major sites in Kanazawa. There are a large number of nearby restaurant options along with the seafood market that also has a huge number of food outlets. The castle is an easy walking distance and other major sites a 15 to 20 minute walk away. There are all the main convenience stores within a block and the train station is a short, easy walk from the hotel as well. Breakfast had reasonable variety, though gets crowded and would be helpful if they could begin at 6:30 vs. 7:00 given some sites open at 7:00am.

It’s a great location, situated just up from from the markets, close to the castle & other places of interest. The hotel is clean and the room was functional and comfortable. There’s a washing machine on the level we were on so we could do some washing which was a bonus. The staff were lovely and the hotel offered a range of essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste which was a nice touch. Also we have a toddler so she slept in our bed and it was fine. I think we were worried before the trip that the bed wouldn’t be big enough but we all fit and the bed was comfy. We would stay here again.

We arrived by train and the hotel was easy to find when we left the station. The hotel also provided good directions. We had a twin room and the beds were very comfortable and the room was a reasonable size. It also had a couch along one wall which was comfortable and didn't take up too much floor space. Breakfast was quite good and there were allergen labels on all the food. I appreciate this as I am a coeliac. The hotel also provided a washing/drying machine which is convenient. We liked the hotel so much that we looked for others of this chain in other cities. Also many attractions are within an easy walk from the hotel.

The hotel is located near Omicho Market, and it is a close walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen. The room was relatively spacious. The amenities are what you would expect from a standard hotel. You can pick up the ones that you need from self-serve shelves on the first floor, so it reduces the waste (which I liked). Bonus point for a shaving creme.

Cold water and LATTES in lobby very welcome. Lobby decor was truly PLEASANT. Location in relation to station (appx. 14 min.), fish market (where we ate most frequently; 5 min.), castle park and orange Loop bus was GREAT! Front desk staff courteous and helpful. Room had what was needed and instructions in English for the thermostat, quite welcome. Room (#218) never had unpleasant noises from hall or other rooms (although could hear someone WAS above us one of the two nights) we stayed.

It was a very nice neat comfortable stay. It was aesthetically pleasing. Location was good, very close to the market, and the castle. It was also easy to walk to the old town area and the station. There was also a loop bus that passed the hotel. Very convenient overall. There is also a nice department store very close by. The coffee with gold leaf at reception was a nice touch. Breakfast was simple but very good with many options. Great choice.

Well located hotel with great amenities. Room, although small as is typical for Japan, was very comfortable & provided everything you might need, including slippers, pyjamas, kettle, cups, etc. Foyer was beautifully decorated & free coffee machine was available with gold dust (à local product) to sprinkle on your coffee! Hotel is well located: à straightforward 15 minute walk from Kanazawa station & just 5 minutes from the Omichi markets where you can eat very fresh seafood. Also walking distance to the Samurai quarter.

- Great hospitality from the reception staff. They were always smiling and very approachable. - The staff were kind enough to provide with an earlier check-in (1pm) which is very rare in Japan. - The room was very comfortable with all the amenities exactly as mentioned in booking.com portal. - Great location. Bus stop to Kanazawa station was right outside the hotel (distance to kanazawa station is just 5mins by bus and 15 minutes by walk. - Omiochi market and a few eateries and konbinis were available around the hotel.

This was my favourite hotel I stayed at in Japan. The staff were so lovely, kind, helpful and spoke English. The amenities were fantastic. Downstairs there was a free espresso machine with gold leaf you could shake on top. The rooms were a great size for a single room, light and bright with big bathrooms and enough space to open a suitcase. On level 6 there was a room with amenities you could borrow such as curling wands, face steamers and neck massagers. Downstairs they had free bath salts that I used multiple times a day to soak my tired feet. There were cute pyjamas provided, lovely music playing in the foyer and there’s a restaurant downstairs that we didn’t get to but other guests had mentioned it was good. If you’re coming from the JR station, most busses will go to the market which is the closest stop to the hotel and is just one stop away from the station.

The hotel's location is perfect, the market is nearby, and the connections to all modes of transport are excellent! Even though the room was a little small for two Europeans with large suitcases (we booked the standard double), everything was fine! As usual in Japan, all amenities were provided. The breakfast was fantastic, with a large selection of Western and Japanese food. Everything was clean, but room service is only available on request! It was also very quiet, and the air conditioning worked great.
